Light Image Viewer

As the name of this software implies, Light Image Viewer allows you to view your image files. It can be easily used by all individuals (including beginners) and supports the JPG format.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can import image files via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

You can go to the next or previous file (from the same folder as the current image), delete the current file or all of them, start and stop a slideshow, as well as set the picture as the desktop background. Plus, if you right-click the image, you can fit it to its original size.

The simple-to-use image viewer takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. On the other hand, some key elements are missing.

For example, you cannot switch to full screen mode and there is no context menu available. On top of that, we would have liked to see support for additional image formats (e.g. BMP, PNG, GIF). Light Image Viewer comes packed with some basic tools for viewing image files but doesn't offer anything extra. We mainly recommend this tool to first-time users.
