LiteImage is a simple Windows application you can use to open and view images, as well as to make some minor adjustments: rotate, flip, and convert to other file types.

It doesn't come equipped with complicated options or configuration parameters, so it can be handled even by first-time users. The supported file types are GIF, JPG, PNG and BMP.

As long as you have .NET Framework installed on your computer, you don't need to set up anything else. This means that you can save the downloaded files anywhere on the hard drive and just click the .exe to launch the utility. More importantly, unlike most installers, it doesn't make any changes to the registry.

LiteImage is wrapped in a rudimentary-looking interface with an intuitive structure, where you can open an image to view, flip vertically or horizontally, as well as to rotate left or right by 90 degrees.

Once you're satisfied with the modifications, you can overwrite the original file, make a new copy while preserving the format, or convert the photo to a new file type by specifying the name, extension and destination folder. There are no other notable options provided by this software program.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our tests, thanks to the fact that it consumed a low amount of CPU and RAM. We haven't come across any unpleasant surprises as far as stability is concerned, since it didn't hang, crash or prompt error dialogs.
