Viewer is a small software program that can help you check out the content of your documents, and open audio and video files. The developer designed this program as simple as possible, so it doesn’t bundle many advanced features.

The user interface is really simplistic and you can easily get acquainted to its clean layout. It doesn’t bundle any configuration settings, and as the name implies, Viewer is only able to open the selected files from your computer. The app surely appeals to beginners who need a tool to open the files in the easiest way possible.

Viewer works with a wide range of files formats. You can use it as an image file viewer, as it supports the following formats: BMP, GIF, JPG, PCX, PIC, PNG, PSD, RAW, TGA, TIF. Moreover, the app is able to open audio and video files (e.g. MP3, WAV, WMA, AVI, MPG, MOV, MPEG). It also features a built-in video player that allows you to adjust volume, toggle the full screen mode and play or stop the current selection.

The application also manages to open HTM, HTML, XML, PDF, MDB and DBF files as well as SWF and FLV Flash videos.

You cannot drag and drop the files into the main window of the app, so you should add them using the built-in browse function.

All things considered, Viewer cannot compete with other professional tools on the market. The app needs several improvements to enhance its overall performance, such as a print function, a built-in text editor, a search engine and so many others. More experienced users may find it pretty inconvenient to work with such a tool, because it doesn’t provide many useful options.
