s7raw is an application designed to help users edit RAW files created with Fuji cameras. It can change colors, white balance, saturation, and many other characteristics of imported images. The program comes archived in a ZIP file and is portable. You can carry it around on a flash drive and fire it on any available host computer.

Although far from being aesthetically pleasant, s7raw is probably one of the advanced RAW photo editors out there. This is the reason why you shouldn’t expect it to be easy to use.

The tool comes with three main panels: the picture preview, the console for white balance, color fine tuning, and other sliders, and, finally, a couple of mini-sectors for image histogram, magnifier, and parameter curve.

Most of all the options and editing parameters users will enjoy from s7raw are only related to RAW images from a very select number of cameras, like the Fuji S, F, and E series. To import pictures users must have files in RAF and S7R formats.

Conversion mechanics are implemented in a very simple manner: the 'Batch job' will bring up a small window where users can add files to convert, choose the output directory, rotate items, adjust sharpness and white balance, and hit start. However, the program accepts only RAF file types.

The amount of editing parameters is the most important set of features the program has. Users can rotate, set the white balance, brightness, saturation, noise reduction, lens correction, and color space, and they can even save and load such parameters. Evidently, basic alterations like, crop, spot, and white balance are also implemented.

s7raw is a great RAW image editor for photo enthusiasts who want to get their pictures edited straight in the picture format, carrying the highest amount of data out of a Fuji camera. The application can modify RAF and S7R pictures just like any others, and eats an incredibly small amount of resources from your system.

This tool is dedicated to professionals, but with a little bit of effort anyone could edit their RAW images with s7raw in no time.
