Batch Photo Resizer

As the name of this application implies, Batch Photo Resizer allows you to change the size of your image files in batch mode. It can be easily used, even by less experienced individuals.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window where you can import pictures by using either the folder view or the "drag and drop" method. Evidently, you can process multiple images at the same time.

You can check out the source path of the current folder. All you have to do is specify the output directory and select the resize method (exact size, in percentage wise, fixed width, fixed height, best fit), in order to proceed with the task.

Batch Photo Resizer also allows you to modify the format of your pictures into BMP, GIF, JPG, BMP, ICO, TIF and others, as well as set the file renaming rule.

Plus, you can include subfolders, as well as set Batch Photo Resizer to preserve the source folder structure, open the output directory when the task is done and to overwrite existing files. Last but not least, you can apply effects which revolve around the color depth, auto-balance contrast, negative, grayscale and flip.

The image processing tool requires a low amount of system resources to finish a task quickly. It has a good response time and outputs files with a good image quality after conversion. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; Batch Photo Resizer did not freeze, crash or pop up errors.

On the downside, you cannot preview pictures or import individual images with the help of a file browser. There is no help file available and you cannot minimize Batch Photo Resizer to the system tray.
