DWG2ImageX

DWG2ImageX is an ActiveX control that allows you to convert DWG/DXF files into GIF, JPEG, BMP, PNG or other vector file formats directly, without the need for AutoCAD. The control supports multiple programming languages as well as AutoCAD drawing in versions from R9 to 2018.

The highlight of the program stems from the customizable DPI resolution, a feature that permits you to change the resolution of the image to a size more suitable for your needs, such as uploading to your blog or website, for instance. The Dots per Inch measurement can come in handy in a wide variety of situations, including those when you need to a high quality image where all the details of your CAD design can be easily noticeable, for example. Depending on your needs and preferences, you may add font path and xref path.

It is worth mentioning that the scripts can be easily integrated in any SDK or finished product that you already completed. As an ActiveX framework, the utility adapts its earlier Component Object Model (COM) and Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) technologies. Moreover, the script is developed in VC++, it will work with all windows based development environments, such as Visual C++, VB, Delphi, FoxPro, VBScript or JavaScript, just to name a few.
