Easy Trace Pro

Working with pictures doesn’t simply mean fine-tuning a couple of selfies before posting them on social networks. Things can get a lot more complicated, since pictures can be used to create interactive maps, and Easy Trace Pro is the application with which to build such maps.

Once launched, you need to decide what type of project you want to create. It’s possible to start off from scratch without loading any resources, or work on a project based on an existing picture which can be under various formats. The application comes with a picture editor in case you want to link the project to the picture later on.

Although you can use regular pictures as input, the application also gives you the possibility to load DXF and vectorized images to make your work a little easier. If not, the project menu holds functions to add or relink an image, relink by grid, load entire imagery database, transformation of vector data, as well as tools for managing layers, attributes, line types, blocks, and more.

When an image file is in the edit area, the raster menu becomes available. Here, you find a whole range of regular image editing functions, but also the means to thin an image, clean, compare, set color mode, diffuse, binarize, segmentation, extract layers, resample and adjust DPI, set bounds, define effective area, crop, or invert.

Editing is packed with functions to manage entire groups, topology, eraser, attributes by sample, eraser, shears, chamber editor, corrector, or line matching. Better yet, elements can even be bookmarked for quick access when needed.

Additional tools allow you to draw 3D polygons, add points, text blocks, z-tool, band polygon, decorator, possibility to cut image into sections, create subproject, generate frame and grid, relief processing, create central lines, or join along boundaries.

In the end, there are a few options to apply to your project, such as compression to reduce size, export as zip, and even send by email. Moreover, the project can be exported as CSV, DB, DGN, DWG, DXF, GEN, MAP, MDB, MIF, SHP, and TOP.
