JPEGCompress

JPEGCompress is a tool designed to help you compress large photos in order to distribute them over the Internet with great ease.

The app comes with a clean interface that puts the focus on the image you want to work on.

Before compressing your pictures, the program allows you to make some modifications to them, including resizing, cropping, flipping and rotating. You can apply various visual effects, like blur, sharpen, brighten, darken and invert.

The app lets you customize numerous preferences through a tab-based window. Here, you can change the default directories where the software searches for images and the location you want to store the output in. You can set a prefix for all the modified pictures' names.

From the same window, you can select your Internet Connection type and the default photo quality maintained through compression.

Also, the program lets you select one of the existing compressing presets or create your own. Advanced users can further fiddle with the performance options, such as disabling image dithering on 8-bit displays, disable the display of real-time photo quality preview, as well as disk cashing. JPEGCompressor also comes with another feature, called “Batch Process” that lets you work with multiple pictures at once.

The software supports a wide range of file formats, such as Adobe Photoshop Images, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG and many more.
