Right JPG Converter

As its name suggests, Right JPG Converter is an application that you can use to convert images to the JPG format. It can be used by both novices and experienced individuals.

The interface of the program consists of a standard window in which you can add pictures by using the Explorer-based layout. Plus, you can change the file viewing mode (details, list, small or large icons).  It is possible to process multiple file at the same time.

In the list you can check out the name, size, type and modification date of each file. Besides changing the image format, you can also resize, rotate, scale, crop and stretch pictures. Moreover, you can add borders, adjust the hue, saturation and lightness levels, as well as preview photographs.

Right JPG Converter allows you to apply watermarks; these can be either text or images. You can establish their position, size, transparency color, opaque level and format (stretch or tile).

You can specify the file renaming pattern, select the conversion method (selection, all, all recursively), adjust JPEG settings (e.g. compression, quality, Huffman code optimization), as well as save the current options for further use or restore them to default.  Right JPG Converter also gives you the possibility of integrating the tool into shell.

The image processing program runs on a low amount of system resources, supports several keyboard shortcuts, has a good response time, finishes a task in a short while and manages to keep a good image quality after conversion. No errors have occurred during our tests and Right JPG Converter did not freeze or crash. Plus, you can check out a help file. On the other hand, the interface requires some improvements because it is quite simplistic. Nevertheless, Right JPG Converter hasn’t received any updates for quite some time.
