In case you don’t change the destination folder, files with the same name are overwritten automatically, with no option to create duplicate files.

Apart from input and output details, there’s also a quality slider for converted pictures. It specifies compression level, which ranges between 0 and 100. Conversion takes little time, with a prompt letting you know when it’s done.

In case you want to remove some files before conversion, the delete function can help out. Preview needs to be done through other means, because the application isn’t fitted with such a function, not even a link on loaded items to open them in the default viewer.

TIFF to JPG is a straightforward application which manages to accomplish exactly what the name suggests. File support is rather poor, even if it’s dedicated to these two formats alone. The overall process is intuitive, and fast from start to end, but it could have used a few more options, such as a small preview panel.
