DVDFab Geekit is an advanced, yet easy-to-use application that addresses movie aficionados who prefer to tweak their videos and enjoy the maximum quality from the videos they are watching.

Following a quick and straightforward installation, you are welcomed by a clean and streamlined interface that is unlikely to give you any trouble. While you can notice several operations upon launch, it is important to note that for the time being only two of them are active, namely the MVC Decoder and the MCV Encoder.

The highlight of the tool stems from the fact that it comes with unique operations in this niche, namely the MVC codecs encoding and decoding. In other words, the app has the role of extracting the MCV streams from Blu-ray discs or ISO files, but without having any impact on the quality of the multimedia file.

As far as the other functions are concerned, the DTS-HD Encoder, H264 and H265 are listed as coming soon, so you should be able to access it in future updates.

As previously mentioned, the application lets you divide the 3D content into two lossless MCV streams that you can edit using other tools. More precisely, the streams you grab are aimed for the left and respectively, the right eye, and you can perform some basic adjustments such as modifying the subtitles, titles, chapter preferences, audio and swapping them between each other.

In case this is not enough, then you can make additional changes using any non-linear video editing tool of your choice. Once you are satisfied with the results, you can put them back together using the Encoder function. You should bear in mind that the resolution, bitrate and running time of the two streams must match for this process to be successful.
