You can preview clips in a built-in media player and cut them by time or size, as well as change the interface skin and language. Plus, you can configure settings regarding the subtitle offset, luminance filter and buffer location.

The media conversion application runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources to finish a task in reasonable time. It is very responsive, contains a help file and is stable. The output videos have a fair image and sound quality. But you cannot specify the thread priority or set post-task actions (e.g. close application, turn off computer).  There haven't been any recent updates.
