Agile FLV Video Converter

Agile FLV Video Converter is an application designed to help you encode video files of multiple formats (including AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV and VOB) into AVI, MOV, MP4, MPG, SWF and WMV. But it can also extract the audio stream and save it to AAC, M4A, MP3 and WAV.

The interface is clean and pretty intuitive. Items can be imported into the file list by using the file browser or folder tree because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. It is possible to handle multiple clips at the same time.

The file queue lets you check out the source path, length, size and status of each video. By using the default settings, you can immediately start the encoding operation by selecting the output profile and destination.

But the audio and video properties can be changed when it comes to the codec, size, quality, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, frequency, channel mode, volume, bit exact algorithms and deinterlacing. Unfortunately, you cannot create output profiles or restore settings to default. Plus, you can disable the audio or video stream.

You can preview videos in a small, built-in media player, move items up and down in the list, as well as remove an item from the queue or clear it entirely.

The video encoding software quickly finishes a task while using a low amount of system CPU and memory. It has a good response time, contains a help file and delivers a good image and sound quality. No errors have occurred during our testing and Agile FLV Video Converter did not freeze or crash.

On the downside, you cannot change the video resolution, specify the thread priority or set Agile FLV Video Converter to automatically turn off the computer or to open the output directory after encoding.
