Bluefox Video Converter

Bluefox Video Converter is an application designed to help you encode video files to AVI, VOB, FLV, MPG, WMV and others. But it can also prepare items for iPod, iPhone, Apple TV and Zune.

The tool is packed in a clean and intuitive interface. Adding files to the list can be done with the help of the file browser, folder view or "drag and drop" method. Processing multiple items in batch mode is possible.

The file queue provides specific information on each video, including the name, size, output format and destination. If you prefer the default settings, then you can immediately start the conversion operation after specifying the output directory and file type.

Otherwise, you can modify audio and video properties when it comes to the sample rate, bit rate, channel mode, encoder, frame rate, size and cropping mode. Too bad you cannot restore settings to default. Plus, you cannot create output profiles.

Bluefox Video Converter also lets you change the default output directory and specify the thread priority, save the task list, change the interface language and preview clips in a built-in video player.

The video conversion tool requires a high amount of system resources to complete a job in reasonable time. It outputs videos with a good image and sound quality. No errors have occurred during our tests and Bluefox FLV to MP4 Converter did not freeze or crash. Nevertheless, you cannot set the tool to open the output directory or to power off the system after encoding.
