DigitalVideoConverter is a program which enables you to encode video files between several formats, including AVI, WMV, RM, 3GP, FLV and MPEG.

The interface of the program is pretty user-friendly. You can import videos into the list via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.

You can preview the video in a built-in media player, specify the output destination and format, and proceed with the conversion process.

You can configure video and audio settings when it comes to the compressors, bit rate, channels, sample frequency rate, and others.

You can capture video from external devices (such as a webcam), rip a DVD, merge clips, specify the default output location and video size, enable DigitalVideoConverter to resize the clip while preserving the aspect ratio, change the interface skin, and others.

The video converter uses moderate-to-high system resources, takes a reasonable amount of time to finish a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality (but it could had been better). There is no help file available.
