Indeed, it should be noted that your compression settings also have an important part to play. A higher level will save more space to the detriment of video quality. I found it useful that the app will show you a size estimate after dialing in your settings. The defaults should work well enough, too, so you don’t have to tinker if you don’t want to. Being able to manually tweak the bitrate of your clips would be a nice addition, but it's clear that the program was made with a casual audience in mind.

The program is also capable of some conversion duties. Albeit rather limited, being able to convert your footage into .MP4 can be useful in some circumstances. More formats would be nice to see, however.

As it stands, Kingshiper VIdeo Compressor is a simple, approachable video compression solution. The Free version is a little limited, as it will apply a watermark on output and won’t grant access to batch processing, but it’s worth a try if you’re after a tool that will get the job done.
