Media Buddy

Media Buddy is a program which enables you to convert audio and video tracks between multiple formats, including AVI, MP3, MOV, WAV, MP4, WMV and MKV.

The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. Media files can be imported via the file browser, treeview or "drag and drop" method. Batch conversion is supported.

In the list you can check out the name, format, audio and video settings, along with a progress bar for each media file. All you have to do is specify the output folder and file type, in order to start conversion.

You can configure audio and video properties when it comes to the codec, bit rate, quality, sample frequency rate, channels, scaling, size, cropping, aspect ratio and others.

Plus, you can burn a CD or DVD, copy content to iPod devices, open the output folder, enable Media Buddy to skip converted files and to immediately initiate the encoding task, and more.

The video conversion software takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. The image and sound quality is preserved at a very good level. Unfortunately, there is no help file available. Other than that, we strongly recommend Media Buddy to all users.
