MobiRise 3GP Converter

MobiRise 3GP Converter is an application that you can use to encode video files of multiple formats (e.g. AVI, 3GP, MPG, WMV) to the 3GP extension, supported by mobile phones.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not possible.

You can check out input and output information (e.g. codec, bit rate, properties, duration, size), specify the output destination and filename, and proceed with the conversion job.

You can adjust the quality, stretch and crop the image, split videos by time, size or by marking the start and end point, preview input and output clips in a built-in media player, as well as create profiles, set the preview scale and length, check out a log window, and more.

The video encoding software runs on a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a fair image and sound quality (it could had definitely been better). Unfortunately, there is no help file available.

But the biggest issue here is the fact that batch processing is not allowed. Even if MobiRise 3GP Converter can be easily used by individuals of any experience level, we recommend this tool with reservations.
