Smart DVD Creator Pro is an application that allows you to convert videos to various file types (including AVI, MPEG, WMV, RM and DVD), as well as clone DVDs. The tool can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.

The interface of the program is clean and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported into the processing list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch conversion is possible.

In the queue you can check out the source location of each file. Once you set the output directory and file type, you can initiate the encoding task.

But you can also change audio and video settings for each output format when it comes to the codec, bit rate, frame rate, frame size, channel mode, aspect ratio and others.

Moreover, you can view file properties, preview clips in a small, built-in media player, clone DVDs by selecting the input and output device, as well as convert DVDs to AVI, MPEG, WMV and RM.

The simple-to-use video conversion program needs a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, includes a step-by-step tutorial for novices (too bad it doesn't have snapshots), quickly finishes a task and delivers a good image and sound quality in the output videos.

However, Smart DVD Creator Pro failed an MPG-to-WMV conversion during our testing (but no errors popped up). Plus, you cannot change program settings (e.g. enable Smart DVD Creator Pro to automatically turn off the computer after conversion). But, even so, we strongly recommend this tool to all users.
