River Past Crazi Video for Zune is a simple-to-use application that allows you to prepare audio and video files (e.g. RM, OGG, WAV, WMV) for Zune, BlackBerry, Archos, iPod, iPod, iPhone, PMC and Wii, among other devices.

The app is packed in a plain and simple interface. Media files can be added to the file list by using either the file browser, tree view or "drag and drop" method. Processing multiple items simultaneously is possible.

In the file queue you can check out the original and output name and format, duration, audio and video properties, along with estimated size and status of each clip. By choosing the default settings, you can directly start the conversion procedure by specifying the output destination and profile.

Otherwise, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the bit rate and quality. But you can also preview clips in a built-in media player, remove an item from the list or clear the entire file queue, as well as view file properties and add items to iTune for syncing.

The video processing tool can take a while to complete a task (longer than the length of the video). It has a good response time and uses a very high amount of system resources. We have not come across any errors throughout our testing and River Past Crazi Video did not freeze or crash. The output videos have a good image and sound quality.

On the downside, you cannot set the program to power off the computer or to open the destination folder after encoding. Plus, you cannot trim or merge clips and the interface is outdated.
