IPCorder Desktop

IPCorder Desktop is an application that was developed to help computer users connect to their IPCorder devices and view recorded or live video content.

In order to run on the target computer as intended, users must provide it with a Java Runtime Environment installation beforehand. No setup is required for deploying the application on the PC, since it is portable and can be run from removable storage media (such as USB flash drives or external HDDs) as well.

After launching the application, users can make use of its functions after providing it with a series of required parameters: device address, user name and password. Users can create a shortcut of the executable and append options or arguments to the “Target” field. This action can help users automatically fill values for the login screen or log in a certain box whenever the program is launched.

IPCorder Desktop can help users view the corresponding content in three different ways: maximized, full-screen and windowed, depending on their preferences. Users can connect to a device available on the same network as they are or connect remotely. Also, it is possible that the utility can detect the remote access mode incorrectly. In the situation described above, users can force the app to correct remote mode, in order to prevent compatibility issues from arising.
