MKVBatch

MKVBatch is a software utility designed to help you merge multiple video files into a Matroska file. It provides a user-friendly frontend for MKVmerge, a tool included in the MKVToolnix package, fulfilling its mission via a GUI that makes your entire experience more pleasant.

There is no need to install the application, as it is portable. Please keep in mind that MKVBatch will not start unless you have MKVToolnix installed. It is necessary to place MKVmerge into the installation directory of MKVBatch, otherwise the application might not start, or an error might be triggered. If that is the case, please consider launching MKVBatch with administrator privileges.

The application makes use of MKVmerge to join multiple streams in all the input files and save the output as a Matroska file. The one-window interface manages to comprise diverse options related to audio, video, file naming and so on.   You can strip the output video of audio streams, subtitles, and chapters. Non-english audio and subtitles can be easily removed from the clip. The source video files can be deleted after processing as well.

MKVBatch also comes with file naming instruments, allowing you to remove a file’s title and set a new one, according to user-defined rules.   You can monitor the application’s progress while it carries out its tasks and view information about a file, provided MKVmerge is present in the same installation folder.

While providing various functions and options to merge Matroska files, MKVmerge lacks the sought-after GUI that some users are longing for. MKVBatch is here to fix this issue, allowing anyone to take advantage of the power and capabilities of MKVmerge without having to deal with the command prompt. While not perfect, it provides an honest GUI-based version that can fulfill the same functions as MKVmerge.
