Even though nowadays we don't rely on going anywhere without an active internet connection, I must agree that even in such situations, there are moments when I'd still like to enjoy my favorite videos in offline mode.

Thus, an application such as YTD could prove useful by allowing me to download my favorite videos for use when my internet connection is not strong enough.

You can tell just by looking at the program's icon that the developer went for the premium look. The app also feels this way and from what I tested it, there were no issues. It worked just as expected. The procedure is simple. You'll first need to find a YouTube video to download, and that I think might be the most difficult part. The second task you'll have is to paste its URL link into the specified area. The app will take care of the rest from this point onwards.

When the program manages to pull all necessary information, it will then ask the user for some adjustments and tweaks to the video, if needed. Thus, you can decide on the quality and the final location of the downloaded content.

An advanced tab will guide power users to even more choices regarding audio codecs, the actual resulting format, and the video source information.

There are further settings to be adjusted, if the need arises. For example, you can decide on the maximum number of parallel tasks. The speed display format can also be altered, and the number of videos to be downloaded from a playlist can be changed at any given time.

Finally, the user can rest assured that the app can be told what to do next, once the given tasks are completed.

YTD is a YouTube downloading app that manages in my opinion to strike the perfect balance between being helpful and not overcomplicating things. As a result, I'd say this is a product to look up to when needing the services it provides.
