If you are regularly browsing and looking for movies as torrent files, then chances are that you are familiar with yify. Since some people will try to take advantage of the name, now you can search for the latest movies added on an official website. Then again, if you don’t want to access the website or you can’t for some reason, then YTS-Streaming is a tool that enables you to access all content available there.

The utility comes with a minimalistic interface, similar to the website, where you can search for a particular movie using the filters. You can input the name of the movie in the dedicated section if you know exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively, you can look for other films by specifying the quality, genre and rating. To narrow down your search, you can sort the result via multiple other filters, including date added, peers, seeds, like, title, rating or number of downloads.

The advantage of the program stems from the fact that you can watch the movie directly within the app without having to grab the torrent first. Before playing the videos, you have the possibility to get the corresponding subtitles for it, so you don’t have to wander around suspicious websites. In the eventuality that the application can’t play the torrent, then it offers the download possibility.

For the time being, the developer mentioned that the YTS login, comments and reviews are not implemented yet. Using filters that rely on that may not provide the desired results. At the same time, the app doesn’t support automatic updates, so you will have to do it manually each time.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the app caches the content while streaming, so you need to remember to clear the cache to save space. Luckily, you can do so quickly via the Clear Cache option in the Settings. All data used is stored in the <temp_folder>/webtorrent/ folder and you can even copy the full downloaded movie from this directory.
