Introducing overlays to your footage can help it stand out in certain cases, and that is especially true for drone and action camera footage, where additional telemetry data lends itself well to that kind of video type. Through GPXRender, users can now add all manners of overlays to their videos, and customize the way they want everything to be shown.

Presenting everything within an interface best described as practical, the tool makes it possible for users to create custom video dashboards for their footage and customize them in any way they want. From being able to change the overlay coloring, to its font, to associating certain effects, there's quite a bit that can be done here.

First off, you'll need to have some footage on hand. It's worth noting that footage with metadata is necessary for these widgets to work: the tool pulls the information from the metadata and .gpx file, with the latter helping one overlay GPS maps onto their source video.

You can incorporate the elements in any way you want, and to help make the process more convenient, the program comes with a series of ready-made presets for your clips. Drone, dashcam, and a number of racing-focused templates are available for use.
