Vivia is a smart and easy-to-usevideo editing program that offers very user-friendly editing of DV video material.
It provides extremely easy editing of clips and transitions in real-time, along with multi-camera support for editing scenes that were recorded by more than one camera simultaneously.
Here are some key features of "Vivia":
■ Efficient and easy editing of movie clips and transitions ■ "Multi-cam" edit mode: support for natural editing of scenes that were recorded by multiple cameras simultaneously, as is typical in music videos and interviews ■ Support for multiple movies in a single project
Missing features:
■ Only supports PAL (no NTSC) (to be addressed in v.0.2) ■ Only supports DV files (either raw or AVI) and image files (to be addressed in v.0.2) ■ Only supports export into a DV-encoded AVI file; further conversion could be done with another program (to be addressed in v.0.2) ■ No support for music tracks (to be addressed in v.0.3) ■ Very limited number of transitions (to be addressed in v.0.4) ■ Titles must be created in an graphics program (to be addressed in v.0.4) ■ Does not offer video capture; that needs to be done with another program (to be addressed in v.0.5)
