Xilisoft AVI MPEG Joiner

As the title of this software suggests, Xilisoft AVI MPEG Joiner allows you to join video files with the AVI and MPEG formats, along with 3GP, FLV, RM, WMV and others.

The interface of the tool is simplistic and intuitive. Video clips can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.

You can preview clips, adjust the volume and enable fade in and out effects. Once you press the "Join" button, you can specify the output destination, filename and extension, in order to proceed with the merging process.

But you can also modify audio and video preferences when it comes to the quality, size, codec, frame rate, bit rate, zoom, aspect ratio, sample frequency rate, channels, volume, encode mode and others.

You can change the interface language, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, turn off computer), enable Xilisoft AVI MPEG Joiner to automatically check for updates online and to show info on the tray icon after conversion, and more. Settings can be restored to their default values.

The video merging software runs on a pretty high amount of system resources, includes a brief step-by-step guide for novices, has a fair response time, can take a while to finish a task and manages to preserve a very good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't come across any issues during our tests and strongly recommend Xilisoft AVI MPEG Joiner to all users.
