Video playback has come a long way from the early days of cinematography and projections, and all the way up to the modern standards of Blu-ray, 4K, 8K, and IMAX. In a time and age where quality matters more than ever, having a capable video player for previewing your favorite films in glorious Blu-ray is a must. AnyRec Blu-ray Player was designed in order to offer you such capabilities, and it will allow you to perform playback on your Blu-ray videos and enjoy them without any worries.

On first impression, the design and the layout of the player are minimalist, and all on-screen controls and features are kept to a minimum. We didn’t feel this to be to the detriment of functionality, actually, quite the opposite, as it allows for a clearer overview.

The actual playback controls are, in our opinion, sufficient for most requirements, and their minimalist nature can provide good, accessible handling throughout. This, in combination with the dedicated menus for extended functionality, can result in a pleasant playback experience.

A variety of elements that constitute the playback characteristics can be tweaked, ranging from aspect ratio and cropping, all the way down to more intricate parameters, such as deinterlacing or image characteristics.

The latter feature a dedicated menu, which we found to be simple and effective, with easy-to-adjust sliders for hue, brightness, contrast, saturation, and gamma.
