If you enjoy listening to music on your PC, then having a dedicated player can make all the difference. Harmonoid is a user-friendly music player that provides you with a simple way to enjoy both local music and your favorite videos from YouTube.
The app comes with a setup and portable version, so it is completely up to you if you want to install the app. Regardless of the choice, you are welcomed by a sleek and stylish interface split into several categories that enable you to quickly access the artist, album or your favorite albums.
The online searches are mainly done on YouTube and, if you are not unsure about what to search for, it provides various suggestions that may not be relevant compared to what you normally find on the official page. Nevertheless, you can use the Search function to find the music or artists you enjoy. According to the developer, there are time synced lyrics inside the app neatly displayed on stylish backgrounds. Moreover, thanks to the metadata reader, you can play URLs that are indexed and cached so that your next launch is faster and smoother.
In case YouTube is not your thing and you have your own music stored on the PC, then the app allows you to quickly access the albums, tracks, artists or playlists created. Before you can enjoy your music, first you need to go to Settings and add your dedicated music directories. By default, the application is set to index the standard Music folder in Windows, but you can add the exact directories where you store your music. Other noteworthy features include pitch shifting, speed change or volume boost, which many of you may like while listening to your favorite albums.
In the eventuality that you are regularly listening to music while using your PC, be it on YouTube or locally, then perhaps you can consider giving Harmonoid a try. While it does not have an editor or organizer function like most music players out there, it can simplify the way you are enjoying your music.
