Initializing the recording process is a breeze, and you’ll be prompted for choosing the preferred input sources, as well as details for the output data. Previewing the recording is also nice, thanks to the well-established visualizer area.

One aspect that adds to the application’s flexibility and versatility, is its support for adding overlays to the recordings and broadcasts. To that end, you’ll be able to add text and image overlays.

Each can be customized in great detail, and you’ll even be able to add objects as overlays, which can be defined in a custom way, which will allow you to determine the exact shape and size. Last but not least, videos can also be played back using the app, if you so require.

Cubic Broadcast can prove to be a good choice if you’re looking for a simple screen recorder, which comes with good functionality, doubles as a broadcaster, and also offers support for custom overlays.
