Easy Video Capture

Easy Video Capture is a tool which enables you to record the activity of your monitor and export it to a video with the AVI format.

The interface of the program is based on a simple window in which you have to first specify the output destination and file name, in order to start recording.

You can modify recording options when it comes to the video codec and quality, frames per second, recording interval and play rates.

On top of that, you can change keyboard shortcuts (for start, pause and stop), enable Easy Video Capture to minimize when recording, include the mouse cursor and record a layered window.

You can enable to blink when recording, enhance the mouse click, record audio and play the video after recording. Last but not least, you can select the region that you want to capture, between normal or fixed area, window or full screen mode. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

The video recording application requires a pretty low amount of system resources, includes a well-written help file with snapshots and didn't cause us any difficulties during our tests. The image and sound quality of the output video is good but not excellent.

Also, the video doesn't run very smoothly and the interface is slightly outdated. But, all in all, Easy Video Capture is a very good software to recording video tutorials and we strongly recommend it to all users, whether they are novices or experienced.
