As its name clearly suggests, Mytoolsoft Screen Recorder comes in handy in situations when you need to record your on-screen activity. The application can help you create video tutorials without too much hassle, with just a few clicks.

One of the main advantages of Mytoolsoft Screen Recorder is the simple layout and the ease of use. Its elegant interface comprises information about the recording settings as they are currently configured in the Settings window. As such, you will be able to see the target area to record, the audio input, as well as information about the output format and resolution.

The Settings window is the place where you can change the default recording options to your liking. Mytoolsoft Screen Recorder can record either the entire computer screen, a specific area of your choice or just the active window. If your computer is equipped with more than one monitor, input from all the screens is included in the recording.

Moving on, you can set the audio input to either the system audio or the microphone. This latter option enables you to add recorded background voice to your video, meaning you can create audio-supported tutorials. Alternatively, Mytoolsoft Screen Recorder can mute the video if needed.

By default, the application uses the F2 key to stop the recording but you can configure the hotkey to any combination you prefer.

The output can be saved to MP4, MKV, FLV or AVI. The frame rate and the resolutioncan be customized as well, while maintaining the aspect ratio. The resulting video is saved locally to a directory of your choice but there is no option to upload it directly online, which would probably save time.

Mytoolsoft Screen Recorder provides a user-friendly interface and allows one-click recording of the computer screen. If we were to suggest something to make it more appealing to users, it would be the possibility to automatically optimize the output video for uploading to YouTube or other platforms or, why not, options to connect to an online account and upload the video directly.
