Expired AD Accounts

Expired AD Accounts is a PowerShell script designed to find expired Active Directory accounts and help network administrators manage them easier. It is a handy tool to have around when running Active Directory maintenance, as it can streamline the quick management of inactive accounts.

The downloaded archive contains a PowerShell script that must be launched with administrative privileges, which is understandable, given the nature of the script and it functionality.

The script starts by searching Active Directory for expired accounts and takes the necessary measures to move them to the desired OU for further review. Keep in mind that Remote Server Administration Tools are required for the application to work properly.

If not already disabled, all the expired accounts are disabled automatically by this script. Should any issue occur, an error message is displayed in the terminal window. If not, the script continues executing. Moreover, Expired AD Accounts automatically resets the old password and generates a new random password.
