Java Packet Analyzer reveals detailed information about the analyzed network packets right in the main window, namely source and destination IP addresses, code, TTL, protocol, and data. You can make use of the WHOIS tool in order to gather data about IP addresses, such as name, host address, and site.

What’s more, the application lets you view data in bytes or ASCII, start or stop the capturing process, reset the table with network data with a single click, and route the packet to a remote IP or MAC address.

Java Packet Analyzer delivers only a basic suite of features for analyzing network traffic. However, it still needs some improvements for boosting its overall functionality and making the GUI look more intuitive.
