Web Pages Monitor is an easy-to-use software application designed to monitor websites for any changes in content, as the name hints at.

Although it may sound complicate to work with, the app is not as feature-rich as others in its category. In fact, it contains just the basic tools to give you a heads-up whenever modifications are made to a specific online page.

Installing this utility is a fast and easy job that doesn't impose any difficulties. Once launched, Web Pages Monitor creates an icon in the system tray area for quick access, and gets minimized there when not in use. It pops up a balloon whenever a change is made to a page.

The main application window has a simple look and structure, listing only a few options to tinker with. You can indicate as many new webpages as you want for monitoring purposes, as well as set their display name and select the checkup frequency, ranging from 1 minute to 1 day.

It's possible to disable the monitor of any page from the list without having to remove it. What's more, you can ask the tool to run at every Windows startup until further notice, sort the web pages in alphabetical order in the list, and to automatically recheck all of them when the program is launched.

We haven't encountered any unpleasant surprises throughout our evaluation as far as stability is concerned, thanks to the fact that Web Pages Monitor didn't freeze, crash or show any errors. As expected, it used low CPU and RAM, so it didn't hamper system performance.

On the other hand, it has limited features. For instance, it doesn't keep a log file with all changed websites, so if you happen to leave the workstation unattended, you'll miss any balloon messages.
