HiPing

HiPing is a program that is useful in testing and debugging TCP/IP problems that you may experience with your network. TCP/IP is a network protocol that permits two nodes on the IP network to share various data, such as status and error information.

The idea behind the application is to transmit an ICMP echo datagram to a remote system. On a side note, ICMP uses the datagrams of the Internet Protocol to analyze the information, especially since the messages are transparent outside the IP network protocol.
