Thanks to an intuitive way of operation, this automated time tracking tool can help users record the time it takes for them to complete certain projects #Time Tracker #Automated Time Tracking #Productivity Tracker #Time #Tracker #Track
Tracking the time you spend on certain apps can be helpful in the long run. Perhaps you want to see just how productive you are, or seek to know the time it takes you to complete certain tasks. Though you can very well use a manual time tracker for that, why not give automatic trackers a try?
Chrolog will automatically track the program you've assigned to a certain project. Name the project, specify the corresponding program, and the software will automatically track your activity to gauge just how much time you've spent working on that project.
The program works just as you would expect. It automatically tracks the time you spend on the selected apps, and it does so by recognizing when their respective windows are in focus.
As it's simple to get everything running, you can track as many projects as you'd like. You can configure how detection and tracking is handled through the Settings menu, where you can set a minimum time to log an app, as well as set a maximum AFK time.
The program has a rather questionable stability. Though things worked well enough for the most part, crashes to desktop were more common than I'd have liked. Perhaps this has to do with tracking multiple apps across multiple projects, or something else entirely, but the gist is that the program doesn't seem perfectly stable, irrespective of whether you're running Windows 10 or 11.
In any case, the core idea and its implementation are both solid here. With this still being an early release, there's certainly lots of potential to look forward to. Addressing the stability issues of Chrolog will make the program very much worthwhile for many, but as it stands, the frequent crashes to desktop aren't helping anyone.
