Clipboard manager is a small software application whose purpose is to help you organize multiple clipboard entries in a hierarchical order. It comes in handy especially when you want to save details about addresses, to-do lists, links to external documents, and mind maps.

The tool is portable so you can keep it stored on pen drives or other similar devices to have it with you all the time. Plus, you may run it without having to possess administrative privileges straight from the storage device.

You do not have to go through an installation process because you can gain quick access to its GUI by running the executable file. It’s easy to get rid of it in case you no longer need it. A simple deletion task does the job. The utility does not leave entries in your Windows registry and create additional configuration items so you may get rid of it with a simple deletion task of the files that you have downloaded from the Internet.

Clipboard manager does not make a very good impression in the visual department. It reveals a crowded design so you may need to invest some extra time in order to understand how the tool works.

A help manual is not included in the package, only a ‘Readme’ file that contains succinct description about the program’s features. You can rely on tooltips for viewing short descriptions about the utility’s functions. Tooltips are displayed when you hover your mouse cursor over a specific parameter.

Clipboard manager offers you the possibility to check out a history with all saved clipboard entries. The utility is able to automatically store each item which has been copied to the clipboard.

Plus, you are allowed to delete clipboard entries or remove all of them, perform searches throughout the list with clipboard items, and play sound notifications upon new clipboard items by importing custom audio files from your computer. Clipboard entries can be organized in a hierarchical order, and you may insert or delete nodes.

There are some extra features included in the package that allow you to make use of stopwatch to time different activities, work with a countdown timer, and back up clipboard entries to a file on your computer.

To sum things up, Clipboard manager comes bundled with several handy tools for managing multiple clipboard items. However, it cannot be described as highly intuitive so it may take a while until you get used to working with it.
