HaveClip

HaveClip is a small software application designed specifically for helping you transfer text and images across two computers that are on the same network.

Text and photos can be transferred via clipboard synchronization options. The tool is able to copy data from one OS to another, namely Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Sailfish OS.

You can find HaveClip running quietly in the background without disturbing your activity. It does not come with support for a help manual but you can decode the configuration settings on your own as they look intuitive.

A right-click on the program’s icon from the system tray allows you to enable or disable several options, such as clipboard synchronization, sending and receiving.

HaveClip gives you the possibility to keep a history with a maximum number of entries, save the history with clipboard data to disk, and add a new computer by providing information about the IP address and port number.

You can configure network settings by specifying the hostname or IP address to listen to, activate the automatic discovery mode in order to allow your computer to be viewed in the LAN, as well as set the maximum clipboard size to send or receive data.

What’s more, the program lets you encrypt the information via SSL or TLS connections, add a certificate and private key, and exclude send/receive MIME types.

In order to transfer data, you only need to perform the same basic clipboard actions (‘Copy’ and ‘Paste’) that you got used to, and the information is automatically transferred. The utility is able to memorize up to 99 clipboard entries.

HaveClip offers straightforward peer-to-peer clipboard synchronization capabilities across two computers. The intuitive feature pack makes it suitable for rookies and professionals alike.
