Even though there are dozens of programs that allow users to copy and store multiple clipboard items, MultiClip by Oleg Shilo focuses more on code writers than the regular users of Notepad and other text editors. This clipboard manager comes with some unique features, as it concentrates on simplicity.

Every text line that you copy while the program is running goes directly to the MultiClip clipboard. The app will record in its log everything that you copied. To paste an item from the clipboard manager to another document, simply select it from the list with a double-click and then paste it. When you have finished your work, and you don't have to keep the copied items anymore, right-click the MultiClip icon from the tray, and choose Reset. That will clear the history. Also, you can set the program to remember the clipboard history for when the computer powers up the next time. MultiClip allows users to use only the preset hotkeys to control the application and speed up their work.

The most exciting function of MultiClip is its simulation of auto-completion that is so popular right now. The lightweight program managed to do that with its pop-up console that users can bring up using a fast keyboard shortcut. From there, it's straightforward to select the clipboard item we want to use and add it to the new text. In addition to that, the clipboard console also has a small preview screen and a set of differently colored indicators to show how old a respective item in the log is. Also, each type of copied item has its unique icon for the users to distinguish between texts, folders and files, and so on. In the end, the app works flawlessly, and the shortcut keys are helpful to control the app quicker. MultiClip is, therefore, a handy clipboard manager.
