If you need extra functionality when pasting text from your clipboard, like changing the letter case, inserting the date or removing characters that are not allowed in the name of a file, you might want to use a dedicated software solution such as Paste Text Like.

When using the hotkey to trigger the menu, the options are grouped according to the functionality they provide.

You can preview the way changing the letter case affects your text, but these options are not grouped like the rest, making the menu a bit longer.

A nice addition is the counting of characters and lines present in the string currently stored in the clipboard. This feature comes in handy when there is a limit imposed by the field where you want to insert the text.
