PinClipBoard

The Windows clipboard can only store one item at a time, which makes a clipboard manager particularly useful for those who work with a computer on a daily basis. There are many alternatives out there to choose from but what makes PinClipBoard stand out is its small footprint, along with its item pinning feature.

As it is usually the case with this kind of software, PinClipBoard runs in the system tray, waiting for copy actions on your part. You can reveal its main window either by double-clicking on the tray icon or by selecting this option from the context menu. A third method is to press the custom hotkey (CTRL-SHIFT-Z, by default).

Each time the CTRL-C key combination is pressed or an item is copied to the clipboard in another way (e.g., using the dedicated option in the right-click menu), a new entry is created in the "History" tab. Here, you can re-send an item to the clipboard or open it in Windows Explorer if it is a path we are talking about.

There are three different pin boards in PinClipBoard. The general pin board stores all the items you pin in a single place, mixing images, folders, and text pieces.

The application also features dedicated folder and image pin boards. Each of these boards can only contain directories and paths to images on your computer, respectively.

Having such sections at your disposal enables you to quickly access locations you open frequently and view images you work with habitually.

With a simple yet elegant look and a user-friendly interface, PinClipBoard is a good option if you are looking for a simple clipboard manager. However, the array of files it can recognize is limited so, perhaps adding support for more image formats and even other file types would add to its value.
