As useful as the Windows clipboard is, there are many situations when it is necessary to store multiple text clippings and paste them somewhere, in which case you may need to rely on a third-party application.

Winclipper is one of your options, an open-source utility that enables you to store multiple text fragments copied to the clipboard and access them easily at any time. It is unobtrusive and very simple to set up and use.

The program comes with a standard installer, and you can set everything up in seconds. Once installed, the utility will run in the background and can be accessed either with a hotkey or by right-clicking the system tray icon.

When you bring up the clips menu using the hotkey, it will be displayed at the current position of the mouse cursor, which is certainly convenient.

The application saves a maximum of 50 clips by default, but you can change this value, as well as set the number of clips that should be displayed in the menu at a time. For longer text strings, a preview can be displayed to help you find the right item.

You can set any hotkey you prefer if you aren’t happy with the initial one, as well as disable the clip preview if you feel that it is not necessary. What’s more, you can even prevent the application from storing content on the disk.
