Multiclipboard

It’s close to impossible to imagine computer work without the clipboard. Even so, it’s limited to a single slot by default, and you can’t actually see what is stored inside. On the bright side of things, there are various third-party enhancements, and Multiclipboard is more than a suitable example in this regard.

Before the application is of any use to you, it’s a good idea to make sure that your computer is equipped with .NET Framework. On the other hand, you don’t have to go through a setup process to make it work, which means it can be used directly from a thumb drive on other computers as well, without affecting stability because registry entries remain intact.

It shows up on the desktop wrapped around a classic window frame, which is fitted by default with a cool transparency configuration. Although this can’t be adjusted, it doesn’t affect practicality, but rather enhances it, considering the window stays on top of everything else, and it can’t be minimized to the taskbar or tray area, but it’s possible to adjust size.

Hotkey commands used for copy and paste operations are not changed or affected. You still rely on them, and once you copy an element it appears in the window as an icon along with the associated string. The icon is also intuitive, letting you easily detect the type of content it is.

A simple selection of an item sends it to clipboard and is the element which gets pasted the next. A considerable advantage is that all types of content are tracked, and not just text, which means you can even have multiple copies stored and ready for a transfer process. It doesn’t start with Windows, but you can add a shortcut inside the Startup folder.

All things considered, Multiclipboard is sure to be a reliable clipboard enhancement tool. A great advantage comes from the fact that it’s able to store more than just text, thus adding a lot to file transfer flexibility. It can also be used on the go.
