Chains

Nowadays we all know how hard it is too keep track of time and get things done. If most of your time is spend in front of a PC then logic dictates that the only way you can manage your time more efficiently is to have an app that will do it for you. One such application is Chains.

The principle of the app (and the source of its name for that matter) is simple: you "chain" together events in a manner that will allow you to get everything done. Like all other similar applications out there, you start off by creating an event. You give it a name, a description, then you schedule on which days should it be active or not. For example, walking the dog is a daily task, so you create a chain called "Walking the dog", you add a description such as "take him to the park to meet that pink French poodle", and set which days of the week that chain should be available and you are all set.  Chains can be created for weeks and even months ahead of time so you can always create them the moment you find out you have something to do.

Deleting a chain can be a bit tricky since the way you do it (you click it then swipe it to the left side), makes it look like it was designed for devices which touchscreen support. A neat feature worth mentioning is that chains already created can be edited afterwards. All you have to do is select the created Chain, then type in the name and description over the old one, and the information will be update in real-time, without requiring you to press a "Save" button.

All things considered, Chains comes as a useful app for anyone who finds it difficult to respect appointments, get things done or forget things easily.
