Daily Picture Diary is a lightweight software tool whose purpose is to enable you to use it as an electronic diary. As the name suggests, you can use the application to record important daily events accompanied by relevant photos and store them into a database.

The interface of Daily Picture Diary consists of a single small window in which you can create a new record by entering notes concerning daily activities, attach a photo that gets automatically resized to fit the application's display panel and choose a suitable title. You can create countless records, which are enough to last a lifetime. On top of that, you can open a separate window, without losing previously entered data in order to create a new diary unrelated to the previous one. You can switch between windows, provided that you do not open too many of them, in witch case things might get confusing.

Even thought it is designed to be a picture diary, it has several functions specific for a word processor. In other words, you have access to cut, copy and paste functions, as well as use the search and replace feature, along with the possibility to sort entries alphabetically from A to Z and vice versa. In addition to this, you are able to sort records starting with old ones and ending with new ones. Plus, you can use a built-in calculator in case you need to do calculations, and insert the current time and date for each record.

One interesting feature that this application has to offer is that it allows you to view a pie chart that displays how many records your diary contains. You can copy that chart to your clipboard or print it.

Daily Picture Diary provides you with enough features to keep you entertained while typing down everyday notes. Although, an essential feature that paper diaries are equipped with is missing, namely you have no option to password-protected your diary.
