Scrumy

Scrumy is a simple application you can use to quickly create and organize tasks into different categories by priority. It's a small-size app with a Modern UI, specially designed for desktops, tablets, notebooks and laptops that are running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

Since it's an application trusted by Microsoft, it can be downloaded from the Windows Store and integrated with your computer's Start Screen or Menu. It gets launched in a large window with a grey background, showing four empty groups: To Do, Doing, Alert, and Done.

To create a new job, click the Add task button on top, next to the app's name, type or paste the task's description, and click Save. It's automatically added to the To Do group.

You can add as many tasks as you want. As a job evolves, select its entry in the first group to bring up the App commands horizontal bar on the bottom, and click another category to move it to, depending on the progress: Doing, Alert or Done. Any task from any group can be moved back and forth.

There are no other options implemented by the developer. Thanks to the built-in Windows features, which apply to all Modern UI apps, you can take a screenshot of Scrumy and send it to various programs you have installed, like Twitter or OneNote.

We haven't experienced any compatibility issues with Windows 10 in our tests. On the other hand, Scrumy is rudimentary. It merely integrates four groups with identical configurations that just have different titles.

For example, the Alert group doesn't give you the possibility to set up task reminders. In fact, there are no kind of configuration settings integrated, such as the ability to customize the font and colors. Also, it's not possible to delete tasks, and the time of a task isn't displayed. Regrettably, Scrumy doesn't have what it takes to be a practical note-taking tool.
