Taking notes on paper is slowly becoming something of the past due to the increased rate at which technology is advancing and there is a considerable amount of computer programs that are slowly making sure that such a habit will become extinct.

NoteBook is an application that brings a colorful and practical way in which you can take casual or important notes on your computer and store them for as long as you need.

NoteBook displays a more than comprehensive interface which should appeal to just about anyone who’s looking for a simple note manager. Its color-rich minimalistic design makes it easy handle when it comes to both adding text as well as saving it.

The application provides multiple pages on which you can add notes, and each page can hold multiple entries. You have the possibility to view the notes like on a bulletin board or open them individually.

As far as configuration goes, there’s not much to speak of except the fact that you can set the application to restore the most recent notes when you run it and that it can automatically launch at Windows startup.

NoteBook doesn’t come with any advanced features. You don't get text formatting, image insertion, annotations and such but it does offer something that few note managers do, encryption.

The application is able to store the all the notes you create into a custom encrypted file meaning that only you or anyone else who has the application installed can open them. It’s not necessarily bank-level security, because you can’t even password protect them, but it does offer a certain degree of reassurance.

To wrapt it ip, NoteBook might not excel in features but it runs smoothly, it looks good and it also enables you to switch between fullscreen to a ‘Quick Note’ view which really comes in handy and makes the entire note taking process all that more pleasant.
