PTM

The Internet is the only place where you can find information fast, but it's also the biggest distraction from work or things that you need to get done. Fortunately, there are many tools available out there to help you better manage your time.

One of them is PTM. It's a time tracking tool that will help you realize how much time you spend online or doing unproductive things.

The application takes almost no time to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand and some nice features.

The interface resembles that of the task manager on your computer, which is quite nice since it means that the familiar look will make it easy for you to navigate through sections.

The application displays a tasks log on the screen. You can edit tasks, change their name, set an estimation goal in hours and minutes. You can also prioritize tasks and write notes to get hints on the things that you would like to get done.

There's the option to create as many tasks as you'd like and the application records a list of websites and programs that you've used during one task. It also shows you the number of minutes that you've spend in every program.

Other than that, the application creates a summary with the total time that you've spent working on a specific task and it keeps a record of usage. Whenever you get distracted by content online, it displays a small notification on the screen.

Statistics are also available, together with charts in which you can check usage. Weekly reports can be obtained easily, but you can't print the data inside PTM.

PTM is a very nice application that allows you to better manage your time and stay focused on work.
