Pomodoro

Pomodoro is definitely not a tomato in Italian, or it is, but at least not in this case. This program aims to offer users a way to keep track of their work and break cycles in the true Pomodoro technique style. It's a very simple application that won't bother you at all. The program is more of a time tracker in reality. The user can change some of the timed options, although the true Pomodoro style relies on very specific time ratios.

One can adjust the work time for one single session, 25 minutes by default, the relax time between work sessions which is clocked at 5 mins, and the longer type of break after a couple of working periods which is equal to 15 minutes. These can be changed, allowing one to customize the app to fit their work schedule.

It's true that the human mind works best when given some sort of routine and fixed plan. We're terrified of the unknown, so having an idea about how our work schedule should be or actually is makes our lives easier to live.
